Repayment of the Greek debt

Mr. Tsipras and Europe speak two different languages.

When Europe talks about "reform" (μεταρρυθμίσεις), they mean privatizations, retrenchment of the public sector, and a modern European Economy. To these, Mr. Tsipras has already said emphatically NO. The reforms of Mr. Tsipras, as he explains them, consist of fighting corruption and tax evasion.

The Economy of public enterprises and the large State which Mr. Tsipras envisages can in no way lead, today, to growth and development. And without these two, the Greek debt cannot be repaid. As simple as that.
